HOYS 2013 - What a week!!!

Picture
Well HOYS 2013 was definitely the stuff dreams are made of for Team Wheway!!!

We had the most amazing week and owe everything to our amazing ponies and owners - without whom it would not be possible!!

Peasedown Mr Muddle - 5th Welsh C Ridden Final & 8th M&M WHP Final

Bisterne Diva - 5th New Forest Ridden Final

There were many tears shed, much champagne drunk and we all had a cheesy grin on our faces the whole week!! To win at such a prestigious show meant the world to us all and is a memory that will stay with us forever!

Rosscon Dee Jay - £5000, Sweet William - £3800 and Lockinge Walter - £3000. Absolutely fantastic achievement for all involved. Big thanks to Mum & AJ for all your help and to Jo & Richard for giving me 3 fantastic ponies to work with!

7th September - Moreton in Marsh Show

Picture
It obviously wasn't meant to be for Bisterne Diva in the workers this year, finishing the season with a very unlucky pole and 5th. However, really can't grumble, she has been a total superstar this year & so consistent and at only 6 has still got plenty of time to get that golden ticket 😊 The day picked up though, as I was lucky enough to ride the fabulous Spinway Blackthorn in the HOYS Connemara Class -gaining TOp Conformation marks and finishing 7th in a very strong class. A pleasing result for our first time in the ring together!! Big thanks to Jo & Richard for letting me ride you special boy x

22nd March - Some Lovely News

Picture
Peasedown King Louis
I always like to hear updates on how ponies are doing that we have either owned, broken or produced so it was absolutely lovely to hear from the current owners of the lovely Peasedown King Louis today.

"Hi Steph,
A wee note on PK Louis. We bought him from Lauren 2 1/2 yrs ago. He is a 'One in a Million' pony, totally perfect in every way. My daughter is now far too big for him and I can't bear the thought of the next inevitable step. Everyone who has worked with Lou comments on how he must have been produced correctly. All credit due to you then. Linda"
